ਈ ਕੀ - ਬਿਹਾਰੀ - Bihari.

Name: Bihari
Shape: ਈ ਕੀ
Spelling: ਬਿਹਾਰੀ
Drawing: ਈ This is Eerdee with a bihari. The way to remember the difference between a sihari and a bihari is that a bihari looks like a backwards 'f'. As for remembering the sounds, remember the word 'billie' - ਬਿੱਲੀ - the name of this site. It has a sihari at the beginning and a bihari at the end with the 'i-.-ee' vowel structure of so many words in both English and Punjabi. Aesthetically, the sihari and bihari and the beginning and end of the words make a nice-looking set of 'bookends' and when you see words that don't conform to that, they look distinctly odd.

ਕੀ When writing, if you start at the bottom of the vertical stroke and go up and around, you are neatly on the horizontal line, ready for the next letter.

Sound: This one is a long 'ee' as in 'Greek'. Note that often, you see words that are in Punjabi, written in Roman (this text) that end with an 'i' - the word Punjabi being an example. Punjabi is spelled ਪੰਜਾਬੀ and so the end of the word should sound like 'ee' not 'i'
